Nicholson's Tree Service was founded by lifelong arborist and sawman Duncan Nicholson. We provide all services to keep your trees healthy, strong, and safe. We love to share knowledge about tree health and best practices while demonstrating safe efficient tree work.

Tree Pruning

We properly prune trees to the highest standards (ANSI A300) to be sure we leave nothing behind but an aesthetically pleasing healthy tree. Whether lifting the canopy for clearance, removing deadwood or defects for safety or doing crown reductions for view clearance where and how cuts are made are important to your tree's future health. Tree Removal

Let us bring our tools, knowledge and experience to complete your project safely and efficiently. We can describe to you during an estimate the methods we'll use to rig your tree down in a controlled and safe manner, so you'll know what to expect.

Stump Grinding

Your tree disappeared but what about the stump? We can take care of that unsightly trip hazard with our grinder. We will call in and have underground utilities marked beforehand so there are no surprises. We then clean up and backfill the hole raking the area to match the surrounding landscape when we're done.

24-Hour Emergency Work

In the calm of night or during a storm "treemurgencies" can happen. From trees in the process of slowly uprooting, to already down and through the roof or as simple as a driveway or access road being impassable help is a phone call away. Special rates apply in the event we need to leave an active jobsite unfinished or are outside regular business hours.
